B in the A to Z bloggers challenge

Bird song

I love to wake up early in the morning to the sound of the birds singing and it has to be early if I am to catch the early bird song without interruption.

You see I share my home with a Cockatoo by the name of Alfie and if I have any hope of hearing the early bird song, over his not so soothing screeching then I have to be up earlie.

Because once Alfie is awake there really isn’t much hope, for as soon as he wakes he start’s screeching for his breakfast. My thought I’m sure for always giving into him and giving him what he wants.

Anywho, there is nothing better than laying in bed, waking up slowly, listening to the birds sing its so relaxing and one of my favourite times of the day.

Would love to know what your favourite time of day is?

Love and hugs Joss.

Ps. Here are some great words that begin with B.

B = Beautiful

We are all beautiful, no matter what anyone else says.

B = Blessed

I have been blessed with great friends, and a great life.

B = Brilliant

We are all brilliant in our own way.

B = bubbly.

People say I have a very bubbly personality.

  3. Joss, loving your A to Z strategy and choice of "B"eautiful words! I am an evening person and love sunsets. I like the coolness and calm of the evening and freedom of the night. Summer nights are my favorite! Being a night owl usually works against me but it has always been who I am.

    Thanks for another wonderful post! :)

  4. Awwww it's funny, but I love the night too, when it comes to writing.
    I love how quite the house is then, with everyone and everything sleeping.
    I just switch on my laptop switch off the light's and work from the glow of my screen.
    I get so much done at that time, I just completely get lost in the my work, and my characters lives. It's brilliant.
    It's hard sometimes deciding whether to stay up late and work or get to bed so I can wake up early and hear the birds lol.
